News: Agent 47 is going to be a very busy boy.
Movie news website IESB is reporting that 20th Century Fox has hired Kyle Ward to write the script for Hitman 2. Ward is also the writer behind the film adaptation of Eidos Interactive's Kane and Lynch, which is scheduled to start filming sometime this year.
No other details about Hitman 2 were revealed, including whether or not star Timothy Olyphant would be returning to play Agent 47 a second time. However, the article did include a small tidbit on the upcoming Hitman 5 video game:
We are told to expect Hitman 5 by the end of 2010 and that it will take Agent 47 in a whole new direction.
Although, that doesn't reveal much more than what Eidos' president did back in May when he confirmed that the game was in development.
